Don’t Have an Alcoholic Beverage … Gamble!

Friday, 11. July 2008

If you like to take a drink ever so often, leave your cash at home if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your evening bag, your wallet, and leave all money, charge cards and cheques back at the hotel. Grab only the cash you expect to use on beverages, tips and whatever pocket change you anticipate to lose and leave the remainder behind.

Contemptuous? Absolutely not. Just realistic. You can have a profit following a boozy night out with your compatriots and be blessed enough to hit a 25 minute roll at a hot craps table. Don’t forget that story because it’s as brief as it gets if you regularly consume alcohol and wager. These activities just do not go well together.

Leaving your moola back at the hotel might be a bit dramatic, but preventative measures for drastic behaviour is required. If you wager to succeed, then do not drink alcohol and gamble. If you can afford to toss aside your $$$$ without a worry, then drink all the gratuitous beer you are able to handle, but do not take plastic credit and checks to toss into the mix of following losses after your inebriated head throws away everything!

Permit me to carry this one step further. Don’t drink alcohol and then jump online to gamble in your favourite online casino either. I enjoy a drink from the coziness of my domicile, but because I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have plastic credit in close proximity, I can not drink and wager.

What’s the reason? Despite the fact that I do not drink a lot, when I drink, it’s definitely enough to cloud my judgment. I bet, so I don’t consume alcohol when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, do not wager when you do. Both make for a dangerous, and expensive, drink.
