Learning From My Betting Errors

1st to clarify why I write this article. I have been betting on the net or at land based casinos for many years. I have discovered, the addiction can grab a hold of you and you won’t even notice it until you are flat broke. Especially if you are on a winning streak. I’ve gone through countless tens of thousands of dollars in only a short period of time and still on occasion, I will go a bit too far. It seems you are just having fun until you decide to be aware of your defeats and the guilt sets in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can earn it back" constantly. It never works. Then you feel sick in your gut and the harder you try the faster you are deprived.

When you see that you’re ahead, remain on the UP! When you begin to be beaten, do not tell yourself, "well just maybe just one more" and over and over again, trust me, this method hardly ever functions. Say you’re betting on slot games, have a bankroll put aside prior to starting your action. DO NOT go over that boundary, regardless how tempting. If you happen to win, put that in a separate cup. Don’t spend your profits no matter what. As soon as you’ve gone through your original set limit, stop. Leave, whether it’s on the internet or at a land-based casino, don’t stay around. Always keep in mind, there will be another day, another time.

Always remember, gambling should be exciting not backbreaking, nauseating work! If you aren’t enjoying yourself, you do not belong there. If youcan’t afford the cost, don’t even begin.
