Don’t Drink … Play!

If you enjoy a cocktail occasionally, leave your money out of the casino if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your evening bag, your money belt, and leave all cash, plastic credit and cheques out of the casino. Grab only the money you intend to use on alcohol, tips and few dollars you intend to burn and keep the remainder behind.

Pessimistic? Not by any means. Realistic more like. You may well have a success after a intoxicated night out with your friends and be blessed enough to hit a marathon toss at a hot craps table. Hang on to that adventure because it’s as short-lived as it gets if you consistently drink and bet. The two just don’t mix.

Leaving your cash at home is a bit excessive, but defensive measures for excessive actions is essential. If you bet to succeed, then do not consume alcohol and play. If you like to be wasteful with your $$$$ nary a worry, then drink all the gratuitous beer your stomach can handle, but don’t take credit cards and cheques to throw into the mix of going after losses after your inebriated brain loses all the cash!

Allow me to carry this one step more. Don’t drink alcohol and then jump on the net to wager in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the coziness of my house, however seeing that I am connected through Neteller, Firepay and have charge cards in close proximity, I can not consume alcohol and gamble.

How come? Although I don’t drink to excess, once I drink alcohol, it is certainly sufficient to befuddle my judgment. I bet, so I don’t drink alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, do not gamble when you do. Both make for a decimating, and expensive, drink.
